When I first started my health and fitness journey, my goal was to just lose those stubborn 12 lbs that seemed to resurface every couple of months. I dreamed of the day that I didn't have to diet down, eliminate everything I loved, and obsess over how I was going to stay on track over the weekends/ or holidays.
While I was able to lose the weight by following at home workouts and a flexible nutrition system, the vicious cycle of having to restart every Monday
when the week would get the best of me ultimately led to a defeating sense of self-confidence. I felt unable to keep the promises I made to myself and eventually- I stopped setting goals relevant to my fitness just to avoid letting myself down, again.
Once I had my daughter, I knew that if I wanted to break this generational cycle of negative self-talk, body image, and constant overwhelm/ frustration with the process of losing weight… I had to do things differently.
Since I felt incapable of doing it on my own, I turned to the One that I knew could help me figure it out… God.
While my journey started with a desire to lose weight, learning how to apply biblical principles to practical strategies completely transformed (as the Lord does!) my entire life.
You see, what I learned is that it was never really about the weight. It was about learning how to steward my body, time, talents, and resources in a way that honors God and advances His kingdom.
A result of this work has built the most fit version of me- mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
And that is how I (accidentally) created Scripture Before Scroll, a foundational faith-focused strategy that helps you rely on God’s truth for your life, not the world’s lies.
With the inability to break free from the starting over again every Monday mentality, I had to figure out how to actually make progress towards not only my fitness goals, but ultimately who I knew I was meant to become.
This strategy changed my entire life.
By implementing my Scripture Before Scroll methodology, I have been able to keep the weight off (for good), become the mom I’ve always wanted to be, break free from relying on fleeting motivation to keep me going, and the best gift of all...
I've deepened my relationship with the Lord.
And believe it or not, I didn’t need more hours in the day…
Are you tired of spinning your wheels when it comes to actually making progress on your weight loss goals?
Instead of the constant frustration and the "on again off again", I help you create freedom on the journey to your fitness goals.
This challenge will give you the framework you need to actually take action towards feeling your best physically and spiritually.
Your fitness should be a source of worship, not stress.
It's time to do fitness, God's way.
